Black Cherry OG

Black Cherry OG is a strong Indica dominant hybrid, quite balanced and of unknown origins. Many cannabis enthusiasts believe it to be a cross between Ken's Og x Grand Daddy Purple, but it is certainly not.

Ken Estes, Grand Daddy Purple Seeds breeder, obtained a cutting labelled GSC (a supposed Girl Scout Cookies). After growing and flowering the plant, he realised that it had nothing to do with a Cookies genetics. Despite this, he kept the plant, as it was a valuable tool because of its characteristics and morphology. The leaves that turned black and buds that acquired purple tones, producing an incredible amount of trichomes. Later, he crossed it with his Ken's OG variety.

Black Cherry OG develops very dense and long buds with orange stigmas and delivers a huge white resin yield. The flowers emanate very sweet terpenes with spicy undertones with a blueberry background. Aromas and flavours are accompanied by a very relaxing effect that can sometimes induce sleep, but with periods of euphoria until it stabilises releasing any tension both mental and physical.
